ELMARIT-M 2.8/28mm ASPH., black anodised.
€2,400.00 *
The Leica ELMARIT‑M 28 mm f/2.8 ASPH., in a black anodised finish with order number 11677, manufactured in 2024, is the latest version of the exceptionally compact wide-angle lens for the Leica M system. The classic 28 mm focal length offers a generous yet natural-looking angle of view and is ideal for street, travel, reportage, landscape and architectural photography.
The optical design, comprising eight elements in six groups and one aspherical surface, ensures high sharpness, clear contrast and precise detail reproduction. Thanks to the very low distortion, lines and structures are rendered naturally. The minimum focusing distance is 0.7 metres, whilst the diaphragm, with ten blades, can be adjusted in half-stop increments up to f/22.
Weighing just around 175 g and with its very compact design, the ELMARIT‑M 28 mm ASPH. is an ideal companion for a lightweight and unobtrusive Leica M setup. The precise manual focusing, the Leica M bayonet mount with 6-bit coding and the high-quality metal mount underline the professional credentials of this versatile wide-angle lens.
The current version 11677 features a separate, screw-on metal lens hood. When used without the lens hood, the supplied thread protection ring ensures a clean and elegant finish. This unit has been inspected and service-certified by Leica Customer Care.
