The Leica Super-Elmar-R 15 mm f/3.5 is an
extreme wide-angle lens that was developed in collaboration with Carl Zeiss. It came onto the market in 1980 and remained in the programme until around 2001. The optical construction consists of 13 lenses in 12 groups. With an angle of view of 110 degrees, it offers an enormous perspective that is ideal for architectural photography and wide landscapes. It has ROM contacts. The ROM chip transfers digital information from the lens to the camera. This includes the focal length, speed and vignetting correction. This data helped the camera to control the exposure more precisely, especially when using flash with the Leica Metz system. The lens is in good condition. Incl. 1 year warranty and quiver.
