Product information "Leica I Mod. A Elmar"
This example represents the sixth version as referenced by von Einem in Die 10 Varianten der klassischen Leica I A mit Elmar 1:3.5 F=50mm. It is in good overall condition and features a meter scale. The camera was delivered to Prague on 23.07.1930. The optics show some light cleaning marks and a small number of internal dust, consistent with age and careful use. Subtle hand engravings can be seen on the focus scale, as well as within the original black paint finish, adding to the individuality and historical character of the piece.
