The Leica M3, introduced in 1954, is a 35mm rangefinder camera renowned for its precision engineering, bright viewfinder (50,90,135) with automatic parallax correction, and the first use of Leica’s M-mount, setting the standard for future M-series cameras.
This is an early example from the second year of production in excellent condition with only some minor signs of use on the top plate and around the strap lugs. Leica Germany recently serviced this camera and upgraded to a single stroke advance. Includes body cap only
