Product information "Leica M4-2 25 Jahre leitz canada (10019)"

Very rare Leica M4-2 25 Jahre Midland (10019), Ontario unit numbered 005. In extraordinary condition, with plastic plate still existing. The camera is of Canadian manufacture (Midland, Ontario) and has the marking ‘25 Jahre’ on the front cover, along with an engraving. Removing the bottom plate, on the inside, reveals a stamped plate with the serial number ‘5’ and the inscription Ernst Leitz Canada LTD. The front black paintwork (on the letter ‘E’ for Leica, is slightly worn). The viewfinder is clean, and the rangefinder contrasted.
