The reissued Leica M6 is based on the iconic M6 from the 1980s. The design language between the original and the reissued models has only changed in subtle details; for example, the leather finish is now finer. The most significant difference between the version from the 1980s and the new one, which went into production in 2022, is the viewfinder. The reissued M6 features an upgraded MP viewfinder, representing a major improvement over the original M6 from the 1980s.
