The fourth version of the Summicron-M 35mm f/2, often called the 'King of Bokeh', is celebrated for its 7-element design that creates a beautifully smooth transition from sharp focus to a soft background. Produced from 1979 to 1996. As the final pre-ASPH version, it represents one of the last of Leica’s classic spherical lens designs in this focal length. This example is in excellent condition with only minor signs of use and paint loss around the barrel. It has been recently serviced and 6 bit coded by Leica Germany and includes the original box, 12524 hood, front cap and rear cap
