The fourth version of the Summicron-M 35mm f/2, often called the 'King of Bokeh', is celebrated for its 7-element design that creates a beautifully smooth transition from sharp focus to a soft background. Produced from 1979 to 1996. As the final pre-ASPH version, it represents one of the last of Leica’s classic spherical lens designs in this focal length. This example is a beautiful condition Canadian version with almost no signs of use. Leica Germany recently serviced and 6 bit coded this lens and comes with a 2 year warranty certificate. Includes original box with matching serial number, 12524 hood, hood cap and rear cap.
