Product information "Leica Summicron-M 50mm f/2 V3 Transitional 11817"
Very rare variant of the version 3 Summicron where Leica was transitioning out of the Rigid Summicron into the third version, noted with distinctive scallop focus ring. Subtle differences can also be seen in the image rendering as the optical formula was perfected through the production. This example is in superb condition and remarkably preserved, especially following it's recent service by Leica Germany; only small areas of paint loss are present around the barrel. Includes hood, hood cap and rear cap only.
