The Summicron-M 50mm f/2 (11826), produced from 1994 to present, is an evolution of the earlier 11819, which was manufactured between 1979 and 1994. While both lenses share the same legendary optical formula, known for its sharpness, contrast, and pleasing bokeh, the 11826 introduced several refinements. These include a more modernised barrel design, built in hood and updated lens coatings that enhance flare resistance and colour accuracy. For photographers who appreciate the classic Summicron rendering with smoother handling and subtle mechanical improvements, the 11826 offers a perfect blend of heritage and refinement. Item is in top condition with hardly any signs of use. Includes original front cap, rear cap and leather pouch only.
