The Leica M6 TTL 0.72 in a black chrome finish, manufactured in 1998, is an analogue 35mm rangefinder camera that combines the classic, fully mechanical operation of the Leica M system with integrated TTL exposure and flash control. It represents the logical evolution of the legendary Leica M6 and offers a particularly direct, reliable and deliberately minimalist shooting experience.
The bright rangefinder with 0.72x magnification is particularly versatile and displays corresponding illuminated frames for the classic M focal lengths from 28 to 135 mm. The precisely coupled rangefinder and automatic parallax compensation facilitate quick and reliable composition.
Exposure is measured through the lens and monitored via a clear LED display in the viewfinder. As a special enhancement over the classic M6, the M6 TTL enables TTL flash exposure metering with compatible flash units. The mechanically controlled shutter operates independently of the batteries, which are required solely for exposure metering and flash control.
With its high-quality build, classic black chrome finish and full compatibility with Leica M lenses, the M6 TTL is an excellent choice for reportage, street, travel and fine art photography. This camera has been inspected and service-certified by Leica Customer Care and comes with a 2-year warranty.
