The Leica Elmarit-R 24mm f/2.8 is a high-quality wide-angle lens for the R system. The lens is known for its very good sharpness and high contrast, even at open aperture. The optical construction consists of 9 lenses in 7 groups. A special feature is the floating element system, which minimises aberrations at close range. The close focusing distance is 30 centimetres. It has ROM contacts. The ROM chip transmits digital information from the lens to the camera. This includes the focal length, the speed and the vignetting correction. This data helped the camera to control the exposure more precisely, especially when using flash with the Leica Metz system.
The lens is in good condition. Incl. 1 year warranty and quiver.
