The Leica Elmarit-R 1:2.8/28 mm is one of the most popular wide-angle lenses for the Leica R system. It was produced over a very long period from 1970 until the R series was discontinued. The lens is in good condition. It has ROM contacts. The ROM chip transfers digital information from the lens to the camera. This includes the focal length, the speed and the vignetting correction. This data helped the camera to control the exposure more precisely, especially when using flash with the Leica Metz system. The lens is in good condition. Incl. 1 year warranty and quiver.
