Leica M3 silver-chrome "Buddah Ears"
2.500,00 € *
The Leica M3 in a silver-chrome finish, manufactured in 1956, is one of the early and particularly collectible variants of this legendary rangefinder camera. As a so-called ‘Buddha Ears’ version, it features the characteristic, solid lugs for the carrying strap, which are typical of the early production years and are considered a sought-after detail among connoisseurs.
The M3 was designed as the first camera in the Leica M system and set new standards in 35mm photography with its bright, precise viewfinder and the combined rangefinder and viewfinder system. The single-stroke design enables rapid film advance with a single lever pull, facilitating a particularly smooth workflow in everyday photography.
Thanks to its fully mechanical construction, the Leica M3 stands for the highest precision, durability and an authentic, unhurried shooting experience. This example has been professionally overhauled and adjusted, ensuring reliable performance at a high technical standard.
