Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH 11602
6.400,00 GBP *
The Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH (11602), introduced in 2008, represents a bold evolution of Leica’s legendary low-light lens, surpassing its predecessor, the Noctilux-M 50mm f/1 (11821/11822), which was produced from 1976 to 2008. Designed by Peter Karbe, head of Leica’s optical development, the lens was a bold technical achievement that pushed the boundaries of what was optically possible in a full-frame rangefinder system. While the f/1 version is renowned for its dreamy rendering, soft glow, and distinctive bokeh, the f/0.95 ASPH takes performance to another level. It offers even shallower depth of field, improved sharpness and contrast wide open, with greater control of aberrations thanks to its aspherical element and modern optical design. Whereas the f/1 features a more classic, vintage rendering. The f/0.95 version retains the signature Noctilux look but adds technical precision and contrast for the modern era, making it more versatile for contemporary use. The f/0.95 not only redefined the Noctilux line, but also reinforced Leica’s reputation for leading-edge lens design in the modern era.
This example is in top. condition with only tiny areas of paint loss, very difficult to see under natural lights. Leica Germany recently serviced this lens and supplied a 2 year warranty certificate. Includes front and rear cap only.
