The fourth version of the Summicron-M 35mm f/2, often called the 'King of Bokeh', is celebrated for its 7-element design that creates a beautifully smooth transition from sharp focus to a soft background. Produced from 1979 to 1996. As the final pre-ASPH version, it represents one of the last of Leica’s classic spherical lens designs in this focal length.
This example is in top condition with German made. Only very tiny areas of paint loss around the edges of the front of the lens where the hood attaches. Leica Germany recently serviced and 6 bit coded this lens and supplied a 2 year warranty certificate. Includes 12504 hood, front cap and rear cap.
