American photographer Bruce Davidson's photo book "Subway (2003)". "Feeling is more difficult than thinking". This is one of Davidson's most famous quotes. A modest photographer who received an art education from Josef Albers when he was a university student and has an excellent sense and aesthetic eye, but "doesn't like to pretend to be art." Davidson has published numerous masterpieces in a wide range of styles, from monochrome to color, journalism to contemporary, landscape to portraiture. This book is a representative work of Davidson announced in the 80's. This is a collection of photographs set in the New York subway, which was feared to be unapproachable to travelers at the time. Although it was originally shot in black and white, it was changed to color photography to convey the presence of black people, graffiti, fashion, etc. Son's first collection of color works. The contrast between power and delicacy that is typical of Davidson is wonderful, and it is a book that is worth seeing as a work of graffiti art in New York. 2003 Reprinted by St. Ann's Press.
