The LEICA Elmarit-R 2.8/19mm (3-cam) is probably the best wide-angle lens Leica has ever made.
Due to the high demand in the world of digital cinema, these optics are in high demand these days.
The Leica R lenses are popular because of their excellent image quality and colors and still give the brilliant image a slight vintage look. Suitable for full format, so can be adapted to many digital video formats, but is of course also a great photo lens for all Leica R model cameras.
The lens has an aperture of F/2.8-22 and can focus up to 30 cm from the image plane. This lens also has built-in color filters for black and white photography, which can be selected via a rotating turret system.
