Product information "LEICA M4-P "Leica 1913-1983" + Summicron M 50/2 "Leica 1913-1983""
In 1983, Leica released 2500 chrome-plated M4-P cameras to commemorate 70 years of Leica since Oscar Barnack's first prototype in 1913. “Leica 1913-1983” was engraved on the back of the top plate, along with one of the five letters of the Leica name, followed by a number from 1 to 500. A regular serial number was also engraved on the hot shoe.
In addition to the camera, 50mm Summicron lenses were also produced with the engraving “Leica 1913-1983”.
Here you can get both in a matching SET.
