LEICA Summicron-R 2.0/50mm of the first series, built in 1966 in technically and optically good condition with signs of wear.
The LEICA Summicron-R 2.0/50mm of the first series was introduced in 1964 together with the Leica SL and was produced until 1976. It has excellent high-resolution optics that are in no way inferior to the later version. With an open aperture, the LEICA Summicron-R 2.0/50mm of the first series has even more contrast than the successor(!). Designed as a high-speed reportage lens, the corners are a bit "softer" than the center of the image. The optimum with excellent image quality in the entire image area is already achieved at f/4.
