The Leica M2, introduced in 1958, is a 35mm rangefinder camera designed as a simpler, more affordable alternative to the M3, featuring a 0.72x viewfinder magnification, manual frame counter, and a wider-angle frameline set (35,50,90), making it popular among photojournalists and street photographers. This example is in wonderful condition with only minimal signs of use and tiny dents in the top plate. The camera has been fully serviced and inspected and in perfect working order. Includes its original box with matching serial number.
