ELMARIT 1:2.8/90 mm lens head with Visoflex system
€250.00 *
This historic Leitz set comprises an ELMARIT 90 mm f/2.8 lens unit dating from 1960, a Visoflex SLR adapter, and the straight and angled viewfinders. The set is complemented by the 16464K focusing knob and the 16471J extension ring.
The Visoflex system adds a reflex viewfinder function to compatible Leica M cameras, thereby enabling direct focus checking through the attached lens. When used in conjunction with the 90 mm lens head and the 16464K focusing knob, the set can be used for telephoto, portrait, detail and close-up photography.
The straight view provides a classic eye-level view. The angled viewfinder, on the other hand, allows the image to be viewed from above and facilitates shooting from low angles or from a tripod. The 16471J extension ring is fitted between the focusing worm and the lens head, expanding the possibilities for close-up photography.
With its classic Leitz craftsmanship, black-lacquered and silver-chromed components, and fully mechanical operation, this comprehensive Visoflex set is of interest both to active enthusiasts of historic Leica photographic technology and to collectors.
Condition:
C+ – clearly used, in a condition appropriate for its age with visible signs of wear. There is a slight dent on the filter thread of the lens head. There are dust deposits inside the Visoflex. The condition and visible signs of wear are documented in the product images.

Note on vintage lenses and viewfinder systems:
With optical components of this age, minute dust deposits or individual particles may be present between the lenses, in the viewfinder or in the mirror chamber. This is to be expected given the age of the item. In this particular example, dust is clearly visible in the Visoflex.
