LEICA Summilux-M 1.4/35mm first series with lens hood in optically and technically very good condition, built in 1974.
The super-compact LEICA Summilux-M 1.4/35mm was produced almost unchanged over a long period of almost 35 years. Introduced in 1961, it was only replaced in 1995 by the 1.4/35mm aspherical.
It is THE classic high-speed reportage lens. Stopped down to “2” by one stop, it is very similar to the Leica Summicron-M 35mm at an open stop, but has twice the light intensity with the stop open.
