The Leica Vario-Elmar-R 1:4/80-200 mm was introduced in the mid-1990s and is one of the most popular telephoto zoom lenses in the R system. It is regarded as the compact and lighter alternative to the extremely heavy 2.8/70-180 mm Apo zoom, without making any significant compromises in image sharpness. The lens is in good used condition.
