Leica Cine Play 1, DEMO
The Leica Cine Play 1 is a high-quality 4K laser projector that combines Leica’s imaging expertise with modern design and versatile connectivity. Its triple RGB laser light source delivers a light output of up to 3,000 lumens and enables projection sizes ranging from 65 to 300 inches. Support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG ensures high-contrast and nuanced image reproduction.
The flexible throw ratio of 0.9 to 1.5 makes it easy to adapt to different room sizes and projection distances. Leica Image Optimisation enhances image quality, whilst the integrated 2.0 audio system – with two 10-watt speakers, Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X – enables hassle-free audiovisual use without the need for additional speakers.
Via HDMI 2.1, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay, the projector can be seamlessly integrated into modern home cinema and presentation environments. The VIDAA operating system offers direct access to popular streaming services and supports convenient operation via the supplied remote control.
This DEMO unit was used exclusively as part of the Wim Wenders exhibition at the Ernst Leitz Museum. The projector was used solely for this exhibition and therefore shows only the slightest signs of wear. Its specific use in a museum setting lends this unit an interesting provenance.
