The Leica IIIb is a historic 35 mm screw-mount Leica, manufactured by Ernst Leitz in Wetzlar from 1938 to 1941. In the history of photography, it is regarded as a ‘transitional model’ between the traditional design of the early Barnack Leicas and the more modern, robust post-war generation. In total, only around 32,705 units were produced, making it a highly sought-after collector’s item.
The camera is fully functional. The viewfinder is clear and free from mould, cloudiness, dirt and scratches. The shutter speeds also work perfectly.
In addition, you receive a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty on our second-hand equipment.
The Leica has been fully inspected by our specialist staff at the Leica Store in Stuttgart.
