The black Leica SL2, manufactured in 2019, is a professional full-frame mirrorless system camera from the Leica L System. Its high-resolution 47.3-megapixel CMOS sensor, which lacks a low-pass filter, delivers exceptionally detailed images with subtle tonal gradations, high sharpness and ample headroom for cropping and large-format prints.
The integrated 5-axis image stabilisation compensates for camera shake by up to 5.5 f-stops, making it easier to shoot handheld, even with longer exposure times. The high-resolution electronic viewfinder allows precise control over framing, focus and exposure.
The robust all-metal body, made from magnesium and aluminium, is IP54-rated for protection against dust and splashes and is designed for demanding everyday use. Thanks to the Leica L-mount, a wide selection of high-quality lenses from the L-mount system is available. The extensive photo and video functions make the SL2 a versatile tool for landscape, portrait, architectural, reportage, studio and video productions.
