The Leica SL2-S in black, manufactured in 2020, is a professional full-frame mirrorless system camera from the Leica L-System. It combines high operating speed, excellent image quality and extensive video functions in a particularly robust and superbly crafted body.
Its 24-megapixel BSI CMOS full-frame sensor delivers detailed images with a wide dynamic range, natural colour reproduction and very good noise performance at higher ISO settings. This makes the SL2-S particularly well-suited to reportage, event, portrait, available-light and sports photography, as well as to demanding photo and video productions.
The integrated 5-axis image stabilisation ensures sharp images even with longer exposure times. The high-resolution electronic viewfinder allows precise control over framing, focus and exposure. The weather-sealed all-metal body and the intuitive Leica control layout make the camera a reliable tool for professional use.
Thanks to the Leica L-Mount, the SL2-S is compatible with a wide range of high-quality Leica SL and TL lenses, as well as other lenses from the L-Mount Alliance. Leica M and R lenses can also be used with the appropriate adapters.
