€2,000.00 *
The Leica VARIO‑ELMARIT‑R 28–90 mm f/2.8–4.5 ASPH. ROM is a high-quality all-round zoom lens for the Leica R system. Its focal length range extends from the classic 28 mm wide-angle to a short 90 mm telephoto, covering a wide variety of photographic applications. It is ideal for landscape, travel, reportage, portrait and everyday photography.
The sophisticated optical design, comprising eleven elements in eight groups and featuring aspherical surfaces, ensures high sharpness, clear contrast and precise detail reproduction. Distortion and vignetting are effectively reduced, whilst imaging performance remains at a high standard even at wide apertures.
The variable aperture, ranging from f/2.8 at the wide-angle end to f/4.5 at 90 mm, allows for flexible shooting in a variety of situations. The minimum focusing distance of 0.6 metres further expands the lens’s range of applications for close-up and detailed shots.
The precise manual focusing, the integrated extendable lens hood and the high-quality metal mount underline the professional character of this Leica R lens. The ROM contacts enable the electronic transmission of lens-specific data when used with compatible Leica R cameras.
