The fourth version of the Summicron-M 35mm f/2, often called the 'King of Bokeh', is celebrated for its 7-element design that creates a beautifully smooth transition from sharp focus to a soft background. Produced from 1979 to 1996. As the final pre-ASPH version, it represents one of the last of Leica’s classic spherical lens designs in this focal length. This example is a later German made lens in near mint condition. It has been fully serviced and 6 bit coded by Leica Germany and comes with a 2 year warranty certificate. Includes its original box with 12524 hood, front cap, rear cap and pouch.
