The fourth version of the Summicron-M 35mm f/2, often called the 'King of Bokeh', is celebrated for its 7-element design that creates a beautifully smooth transition from sharp focus to a soft background. Produced from 1979 to 1996. As the final pre-ASPH version, it represents one of the last of Leica’s classic spherical lens designs in this focal length. This German example is in near mint condition with almost no signs of use. Tiny dust can be seen internally when a harsh backlight is used, however this does not affect image quality. Includes front cap, rear cap and leather pouch. This lens has been fully serviced and 6 bit coded by Leica Germany and comes with a 2 year warranty certificate.
