Rare transitional Summilux with Black Paint brass infinity lock. The optics still show the blue coatings of the original steel rim, rather than the later orange coatings found on the Versions 2's. The original steel rim serial numbers have been reported up to 2167700. This example is in beautiful condition, near mint with only very minimal paint loss around where the lens hood attaches. Includes the original front and rear cap. The lens has been fully serviced and inspected by Leica Customer Care Germany and is in perfect working order. While only very small traces of internal dust can be seen with a harsh light, this does not affect image quality. The optics are in exceptional condition.
