The Leica M2, introduced in 1958, is a 35mm rangefinder camera designed as a simpler, more affordable alternative to the M3, featuring a 0.72x viewfinder magnification, manual frame counter, and a wider-angle frameline set (35,50,90), making it popular among photojournalists and street photographers. This example in very good condition and perfect working order. Minor marks on the top and bottom plate. Small piece of vulcanite missing from one of the bottom corners. Early button rewind type with self timer. Includes body cap only.
