The Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH (11673), introduced in 2016, refines the design of its predecessor, the 11879, or ASPH V1. Both lenses share the same optical formula, delivering outstanding sharpness, contrast, and control of distortion in a compact package. However, the 11673 features a number of key updates, including a rounder aperture diaphragm for smoother, more natural-looking bokeh, and improved coatings for better flare resistance and contrast in challenging lighting conditions. Aesthetically, the 11673 adopts a more modern design with a metal lens hood rather than a plastic clip on design found on the 11879.
This example is in excellent condition with only very minor areas of paint loss around the barrell. Includes hood, hood cap and rear cap only.
