Leica III black paint and Elmar 50 f3,5 nickel (10255) in excellent condition. This camera was produced in 1933, just one year after the production of the screw-in model III, which was a major step forward for Leica, becoming one of the most technologically advanced and avant-garde cameras of the time. It features expanded controls such as an easily adjustable dedicated slow speed dial, an improved rangefinder with the addition of Leica's first dioptre selector and a robust black paint body with few marks of use, a much more discreet finish. Included in this kit is the legendary Elmar 50 in nickel finish, the most sought after version being one of the earliest examples of Leica lenses for the classic optical design with a timeless look in an extremely compact and lightweight format. The optics are fungus-free and smooth focusing. Leather case, front lens cap and film loading spool are included.
