The Leica DUOVID 8+12x42 in black, manufactured in 2002, is a high-quality, premium pair of binoculars with two selectable magnification levels. By switching between 8x and 12x magnification, it combines a wide field of view with exceptionally precise detail recognition at greater distances.
The 8x magnification is ideal for quickly locating subjects and offers a steady, clear field of view. For subjects further away, you can switch to the high-detail 12x magnification. This makes the DUOVID a versatile companion for nature and birdwatching, hunting, travel and demanding outdoor use.
The high-quality Leica optics ensure a clear, high-contrast and natural image. The automatic dioptre compensation retains the individual setting even when changing the magnification.
