The Leica MONOVID 8x20 in black, manufactured in 2009, is a high-quality and particularly compact monocular for observing nature, travelling, cultural sites and fine details. With its 8x magnification and a 20 mm objective lens diameter, it offers a clear, high-contrast image in a lightweight and comfortably handy format.
The precise Leica optics deliver a sharp, colour-neutral image with a field of view of 110 metres at 1,000 metres. Internal focusing via the non-slip focusing wheel enables quick and precise focusing. Thanks to the extendable eyecup, the MONOVID can also be used comfortably by spectacle wearers.
The supplied close-up lens offers a special extension. It is attached to the front of the monocular and enables observations from a distance of approximately 25 to 30 cm. This makes the MONOVID suitable not only for distant subjects, but also for magnified viewing of small objects and fine details.
The robust, nitrogen-filled aluminium body and the high-quality coating on the optical surfaces ensure reliable use whilst on the move. With its light weight and extremely compact dimensions, the MONOVID can be carried comfortably in a pocket and is ready for use at a moment’s notice.
