The black Leica SL2, manufactured in 2023, is a professional full-frame mirrorless system camera from the Leica L System, combining high resolution, robust build quality and versatile photography and video functions. Its 47.3-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor delivers exceptionally detailed image reproduction with a wide dynamic range, subtle tonal gradations and ample headroom for cropping and large-format prints.
The integrated 5-axis image stabilisation ensures sharp images even with longer exposure times and expands the range of applications with both Leica SL lenses and adapted Leica M lenses. The high-resolution electronic viewfinder enables precise assessment of the frame, focus and exposure.
The robust all-metal body, made from magnesium and aluminium, is protected against dust and splash water and is designed for demanding day-to-day use. The clear control layout, featuring the three-button concept typical of Leica, allows quick and intuitive access to the most important functions.
Thanks to the Leica L-mount, the SL2 is compatible with a wide range of high-quality Leica SL and TL lenses, as well as other lenses from the L-Mount Alliance. This makes it ideal for landscape, portrait, architectural, reportage, studio and demanding video productions.
