The fourth version of the Summicron-M 35mm f/2, often called the 'King of Bokeh', is celebrated for its 7-element design that creates a beautifully smooth transition from sharp focus to a soft background. Produced from 1979 to 1996. As the final pre-ASPH version, it represents one of the last of Leica’s classic spherical lens designs in this focal length.
This example is a top condition Canadian version with 'Tiger Claw' focus tab. It has been recently serviced and 6 bit coded by Leica Customer Care where a 2 year warranty certificate was supplied. Includes 12504 hood, e39 UV filter, front cap and rear cap.
